Snow foams are a pretreatment/pre-wash step to help break down soiling contaminants on your vehicles paint.
This step makes it easier and safer to break down dirt before the contact wash step - to avoid dragging these along your paint & creating swirls
Best Part, YOU DON'T need a Pressure washer - a hand pump foamer/sprayer will do. Pair it with some rinseless wash and car soap to pre-spray your vehicle.
- Follow it up with a rinse, then you're good to go with your contact wash
** If you have NO OPTION LEFT, but to use your local carwash, ask them to foam before rinsing and washing. Make sure they wash out their wash mits before starting on your car - or better yet, carry your own for them to use
You may have heard of "The 2 bucket method". It simply involves having 1 bucket with car soap, and the other with clean water. The second is to rinse your mitt after each panel - this method aids a safer wash, to prevent grit and dirt washed off, from being dragged over the rest of your paint.
Wash in straight lines, from top to bottom - rinsing your mitt after each panel. The lower half of panels are often the dirtiest. You don't want to drag this over the rest of your paint, hence we go top to bottom.
If you have access to a drying aid, such as rinseless wash, quick detailer, detail spray or a spray wax, spray it onto the wet panels - this adds lubrication to the panel before drying and will leave behind a slick gloss.

Detailing Hack : When drying, do so with 2 towels
- One to remove large water droplets
- The second to buff dry
.. This method cuts your drying time drastically, and reduces the likelihood of water streaks. Leaving you with a pro's finish.
Recommended every 6-12 Months
Paint Decontamination aims to remove road grime, insect droppings, and other embedded contaminants - A clay bar step helps remove embedded physical contaminants from the paint surface. Clay barring is an essential step in the paint preparation process before a machine polish to ensure a smooth and even polish. Think of it as an exfoliant for your car's paint
