Audacious Automotive is committed to delivering excellence in every aspect of what we do - through every service we render and every client we interact with. To ensure we maintain the highest standards and align client and service expectations we enforce the below guidelines with every service we render
Key-Handover :
For the smoothest service, it is recommended that personal and movable items be removed from the vehicle ahead of your appointment.
A client must be present for the pre-valet inspection AND post-valet handover before and after a service is rendered. This is to ensure both parties are aware of any existing problem areas they'd like special attention to around their vehicle - as well as identify any pre-existing damage before work commences.
Should the client not be available, an elected proxy may stand-in. Said proxy may be briefed on the service to be rendered, by aforementioned client, or a member of the team before the commencement of work.
Engine Bay Valets :
Members of the team are trained thoroughly before touching any inch of your engine bay. As such, we take added care in managing our way though your engine to get it clean in the safest way possible.
It is within the best interest of the client to FULLY discolse any pre-existing engine issues. This enables the team to take special care where required. We typically advise against* steam engine valets as pressurised water vapour presents an added risk to seals, connectors and gaskets.
By opting for an Engine Valet, clients accept to forgo any liablility for damage arising from services rendered within an engine bay by the owners, contingents, or staff from Audacious Automotive.
Headlamp restorations :
Headlamp restorations typically see the best improvement from severely oxidised lesnses. In instances where headlamps aren't as worse for wear, we may advise against a full restoration. Previously-restored lenses may contain coatings that do not cure well with our restorative products. In such instances, Audacious Automotive holds no liability for previous workmanship on headlamp lenses, and as such, hold no liability from any resulting damage, uneven curing, cracking or flaking of coatings that may subsequently occur as a result.
Deposits & Payment:
We may request a percentage of your service total as a deposit to confirm your slot. This is primarily a deterrent against late cancellations, given we are appointment-based. Depending on the service to be rendered, and at our discretion, we may waive the deposit before confirming appointments - mostly in the cases of returning or repeat clientele.
Unless by prior arrangement, Payment for services rendered are payable upon completion. In the event that payment is not received in full 30 days after the invoice date, a 10% late payment charge may be added to the invoice total, compounding every 30 days thereafter.
Tips are welcome - all tips go to detailing technicians IN FULL. Owners and management are not entitled to any portion of said gratuity.
Acceptable payment mechanisms are Cash, EFT, VISA, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and flexible payment via Stitch Money's Pay Later - offering you payment over 6 interest-free installments.
eWallet, gift and service exchanges are not accepted forms of payment.
Ceramic Coating & Advertised Longevity:
Once a vehicle has been coated, there are a plethora of external factors that fall out of our control. Chief among which are the conditions a vehicle is exposed to and how that vehicle's paintwork and coating is maintained. Electing Audacious Automotive to maintain your containing eliminates one of those major variables. A professionally-maintained coating is able to timeously receive the care it needs to keep it performing at its best throughout its advertised lifetime.
That being said, coatings are not a one-and-done silver bullet to protecting your paintwork. When these coatings aren't maintained correctly, they often fall short of their advertised longevity. We can advise you on how to best maintain your coating, but DO NOT explicitly guarantee it's performance once out of our care.
There exists no specific "Guarantee" for ceramic coatings - any service provider that advises otherwise would be misleading a client. We've worked on vehicles where a 3 year coating is on its 5th year due to sound maintenance. We've also exposed providers on vehicles coated with 3 year coatings that have failed within a year.
Our technicians are trained on sound techniques when prepping and installing coatings - to ensure they have optimal conditions to bond to your paintwork, cure, and perform the way they should
Paint correction
Your consulting technician would best advise on the course to pursue in correcting your vehicles paint. However, there are various parameters that define the bounds within which we work and correct paint - ie, condition of paint, clear coat remaining, maintenance regime, where the vehicle is parked. To preserve the integrity of your car's paint, we'll almost ALWAYS advise along a more conservative approach. That being said, be sure you're fully aware of the level of defect removal achievable within the parameters of your vehicles paintwork.
ie. A Paint enhancement polish is promised to remove 60-70% of minor defects and enhance clarity. If a panel has 1000 minor defects in it, chances are 300 of those would still be present after enhancement, before taking into account the appearance of any major defects.
If a client wants perfection in the finish of their paintwork, there's a level of service available to clients that are willing to pay for the added time and steps involved in achieving said perfection.
Content fair use

For contingent & Contract work :
We believe in delivering work of the highest standard. As such, on-occasion, Audacious Automotive may elect to outsource a service to trusted service provider. In such instances, the services of experts may be enlisted for niche services.
Under no circumstances is any price discussion permitted between the contingent and client. Pricing is agreed and set based on the information provided by the client (based on service required, vehicle condition, callout, etc). Should there be any discrepancy on-site regarding vehicle condition or scope of service, tools are immediately downed until such is resolved.
