At Audacious Automotive, BEFORE a machine polisher even touches your paint, we measure your paint's thickness, with precision instrumentation, accurate to the micron. This helps us get an accurate reading of the overall state of your paint. We use this measurement step as a data point in determining the best approach, in terms of pads and products, to bringing your paint's finish back to flawless, in the safest way possible.

Due to their diet, bird poop is often acidic. When left too long on unprotected paint it can easily eat through your vehicles clear coat - etching permanently. This can ABSOLUTELY be fixed by means of paint correction.

Scratches and swirls is visible damage within your paint's clear coat. The process of paint correction essentially involves removing a microscopic layer of damaged clear coat - revealing  a fresh layer of clear coat, that doesn't contain scratches.

Not all polishes are the same. Depending on the scenario, specialised products can be employed for the desired result.

 
- "Paint enhancement" polishes often use a polish with a medium abrasive, to remove minor paint defects and minmal clear

- "Glaze" polishes are often non-abrasive formulas, made specifically for enhancing gloss - no removal of clear coat or defects. Glazes can temporarily mask minor swirls. These are great for scenarios where paint correction is no longer an option

- "Heavy Cut Compounds" are used to remove major defects, and can effectively cut through clear coat. Due to their abrasion level, these often require a follow-up step to refine the finish of your paint
