• Do you use steam of foam to clean engines?
  In our process we primarily utilise an ISO Safe degreaser alongside a pH neutral foam - doing so means we're able to safely clean your engine without compromising hoses, connectors or other components, while still delivering effective results

• Can my engine bay be exposed to water?

Most modern engines are designed to handle water. When driving through rain and puddles, water passes through your vents and radiators, into your engine bay - yet your engine continues to run. There are of course, recommended safe practises when cleaning an engine bay. But yes, your engine is perfectly safe when exposed to water.

• Is Engine bay detailing safe for my vehicle?

When undertaken by a professional, that observes the necessary precautions and follows best practises - your engine bay is in good hands. There are do's and don'ts when it comes to engines. ie. Not pressure washing sensitive electrical connectors, avoiding alternator flooding, etc. 

• What are the benefits of an engine bay detail? 

A clean engine bay can help you easily identify any new fluid leaks within your engine. In our opinion, its one of the crowning jewels for a well-maintained and looked after vehicle. 

Not to meantion, the reaction it gets once you pop your hood. Nobody blinks at a dirty engine bay - but they do take notice with a clean one.  

• I would prefer steam to detail my engine bay - is this possible?

This is certainly a request we can accommodate. But also realise that steam is just a pressurised form of water.
Being pressurised actually means there's an increased risk of moisture ingress through connectors and components over traditional foam methods. 

Also bare in mind, most of the stains you'd find inside your engine bay would be from oil-based sources. Oil and water do not mix. As such, steam is not the most effective means by which to breakdown and remove these stains.
